Boiler Upgrade and Pipework in Suffolk

The Brief

A homeowner elsewhere in Suffolk wanted to upgrade their tired heating system before winter. The old boiler was nearing the end of its life and the existing pipework was untidy. They wanted a reliable new boiler installed properly, with the kind of clean, well-planned finish that would last for years. Joby surveyed the system and proposed a new Baxi 800 boiler.

What We Did

Our work included:

• Removed the old boiler: Safely disconnected and isolated the old unit, then removed and disposed of it responsibly so the homeowner had nothing extra to arrange.
• Planned the pipework: We took time to set out the copper pipe runs carefully, replacing the untidy existing work with neat, fully labelled lines.
• Installed the new Baxi 800 boiler: A modern high-efficiency boiler fitted cleanly and connected to manufacturer specifications and British standards.
• Fitted a magnetic system filter: An Adey MagnaClean magnetic filter was fitted as standard to capture debris and help protect the new boiler over the long term.
• Tested and commissioned: The system was filled, pressurised and commissioned, with every joint checked for leaks and all controls and safety devices verified.
• Handed over properly: We registered the manufacturer warranty, ran through the controls with the homeowner, and left the installation clean and tidy.

The Result

A clean, properly commissioned installation the homeowner can rely on. The new Baxi 800 boiler runs efficiently, the carefully planned copper pipework is neat and fully labelled, and the magnetic filter helps keep the system clean for years to come. The customer was left with a reliable heating system and a registered manufacturer warranty.
